THE CROSS

the young man ponders
is heaven here or where he wonders
the preacher so confused
finds it hard to truly love you

They hide in temples
And believers they pretend
The old condemn the young
For questioning their intent

The path has one destination
Hidden in the flames
And behind the rules of man
Strong stands the cross that saves

A prophet reads the book
What he claims he commands
The ones with different faiths
Only hell is at their hand

And behind the hidden corners
The other laughs at you
follow your path
Only you must believe the truth
